Highlights:

·      Organised demonstration on use of solar fencing to protect drops from wild animals
·       Solar fencing distributed to 12 farmers of Zari through Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Jan Van Yojana
·      Organised tree plantation drive in Bhingara
·      Young villagers of relocated Gullarghat, Nagartas and Barukheda villages provided with information on four-wheeler driving training

Activities:

On 10 August, a demonstration on the use of solar-powered fencing was organised for villagers of Zari. During the demo, Round Officer Mr. Rathod and Forest Guards Mr. Ambhore, Ms Wankhede and Mr. Kawale were present. 60 villagers were present during the demonstration.

Mr. Kunal Verma from Akot gave the demo on use of the fencing. Anirudh Kawishwar explained the benefits of using solar fencing to the villagers present and urged them to adopt the technology and shun bad practices like laying electric wires illegally along farm boundaries.

On August 11, solar fences were distributed to 12 villagers from Zari village through the Dr Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Jan Van Yojna.  

A similar demo was arranged earlier on August 4, in Pingli (Bu) village.

On August 29, information about various schemes under the Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Jan Van Yojna was given to the residents of rehabilitated villages of Nagartas and Barukheda during the Bhairavgad  yatra. 

Anirudh Kawishwar gave details of the four- wheeler driving training being provided by Satpuda Foundation to young villagers. 

LPG gas connections were distributed by Panchayat Samiti member Mr. Manish Bahabulkar and Forest Officer Kamlesh Patil on this occasion. Manish Babulankar, as the chief guest of this event, urged people to take the maximum benefit of schemes like Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Jan Van Yojna.  

All efforts are being made to provide employment opportunities to young boys and girls in Nagartas and Barukheda villages.

A demonstration on use of solar-powered fencing was arranged by Satpuda Foundation to help people protect their crops from damage by wildlife. The program was chaired by Forest Guard Mr. Chaudhary while Sarpanch and members of the 'gram sabha' (village council) were present during the program.

On August 18, a plantation drive was organised in Bhingara village. Sarpanch of Mujalda Gram Panchayat and villagers were present. Saplings of local species of trees were planted.

Education programs:

During the month of August, Anirudh Kawishwar organised classroom nature education programs during which he taught students the importance of water conservation and tree plantation and gave examples of people like Mr. Jadav Peyang to motivate students to take up tree plantation.
