Conservation
On September 21, Niranjan organized a voluntary
work project to clean the area near a hand pump in Satosha village.
Before the programme, there was substantial growth of grass and shrubs near the
hand pump. Our team cleaned the area near the hand pump and villagers were also
educated about the sanitization schemes run by the government in the area and their
benefits. Photos below.
On September 3, 22 and 25, Niranjan took
children from Ambadi and Turia villages on nature trails. On the trails, he
spotted common birds and various butterflies and insects for the students. He
explained the need for conservation of these species. He also spread awareness
about snakes and first aid for snake bites.
