Training Program
Nehru Yuva Kendra, Hoshangabad, organized
a number of livelihood and skill-enhancement training programmes at Raikheda.
They invited Satpuda Foundation to send candidates from our area of operations
to a programme to train women in tailoring. We identified 20 women from the
Matkuli cluster and sent them to the programme which started on June 1 and is
scheduled to run through August. Satpuda Foundation bore part of the expenses
for the training programme. Women trained under this programme are eligible
for loans under the Chief Minister’s Yuva
Swarozgar Yojna, a programme for youths’self-employment. Our team will
assist the women in their initiative after the completion of training.
