On October 15 our team and NCSA's Mobile health Unit (MHU) team visited Jamuntola to organise a health camp in the village. On the way, they saw a lot of plastic pouches and litter on a ground called “Shaheed Smarak” which is around 1 km from Turia village. Government departments had organized a tribal mela on October 9 at the ground, following which the area was littered with plastic pouches and plastic plates and cups which has been used for refreshments. We motivated a team of students from GPS, Jamuntola to join in a programme to clean up the ground, which is frequented by domestic livestock in the day and by wild animals at night.

The litter was collected in bags and conveyed by the NCSA ambulance to the GPS campus at Jamuntola.

On Oct 20 Anoop and Niranjan visited GPS Jamuntola and gave 100 bags of seedlings to the school to set up a nursery in the school campus.
